Founded in 2002 by Nesrin Demiray and her daughter Arzu Aydoğan, Magic Garden Montessori is a pioneer as one of the first Montessori schools in Turkey. Since its establishment, it has supported the holistic development of children aged 2–6 by applying the Montessori philosophy in line with scientific principles.
The Montessori method is a scientific and structured educational approach that respects each child’s individual pace of development while balancing freedom and responsibility. Numerous studies show that this method builds a strong and lasting foundation for learning in early childhood. At Magic Garden, this approach is enriched through the founders’ experience and professional expertise.
One of the key elements of Montessori education is a carefully prepared environment designed specifically for the child. In line with this philosophy, our school building has been designed in full accordance with Montessori principles—featuring child-sized elements, a safe structure, and an architectural approach that supports independence.
This unique architectural design was brought to life through the meticulous and visionary collaboration between the school management and Günday Architecture. Aesthetics, functionality, and pedagogical needs were considered as a whole; every detail was planned to allow children to explore freely, feel secure, and naturally engage in learning.
